new skirt & new game

I thought Elizabeth needed a new spring-y skirt so I finally got around to making her another Lazy Days skirt.  I love this pattern.  It's so easy and always looks great.  And Elizabeth loves new skirts...so it's a win/win situation.

I managed to find some super-cute spring-y fabric.  Many colors is always good so she can pair it with different shirts.

We also finally got around to learning the rules to Wildcraft, which was an Easter basket gift for the family.  Wildcraft, a cooperative game I heard about through The Little Travelers blog, is a wonderful game with players all working together to bring huckleberries to grandma while running into trouble, like getting a headache, bumps and bruises or blisters.  The trouble is solved with a plant (herbal remedy) that you either brought with you or "found" along your journey.  The kids had such a blast playing this game that they played it 3 more times in the last 24 hours.

Hope you are having a lovely weekend and Mother's day!

  2. Widlcraft is a favorite around here. I love that skirt, maybe I'll break out the machine for that, if it looks easy enough.

Happy, happy Mother's Day to you!

  10. Nicola, it's a VERY easy pattern. I can finish a skirt from cutting to wearing in about 45 minutes. :)
