Good Friday

On this Good Friday, many-a celebration happened in our household. We celebrated a bit of Good Friday itself. We celebrated Paul's birthday. And we held our annual Easter egg hunt. We started the morning with a breakfast out at our favorite cafe for Paul's birthday breakfast, then we spruced up the spring nature table with this postcard honoring the crucifixion followed by a reading of Easter.

In the afternoon, we invited friends over for our annual egg hunt. We collected the felted, crocheted and organic candy-filled eggs scattered over our backyard.

Later in the evening, we relaxed with bikes and balls in the front yard.

Quite a good Friday.

  5. Welcome home! Your trip looked amazing. I can't believe how busy you all are after just returning from a big trip. We usually feel drugged from jet lag when we get home from Europe for about a week. Hope you have a fun filled Easter weekend!
