Yarn Along

For my Yarn Along this week, I have all new projects to show you. (That feels good to say!) I'm occasionally working on this Aviatrix hat for a friend's baby. The pattern was just so cute that I couldn't resist. The yarn is Louisa Harding Albero that I found on sale super cheap. I'm still reading John Taylor Gatto's Weapons of Mass Instruction and getting ready for our virtual book club's first discussion this Saturday. (Join us, won't you!)

I also started a project for myself. Yay! My first knit for myself since last summer. I have long wanted to make a February Lady sweater for myself in a purple color (very amethyst for February, I think). When I saw this Malabrigo worsted in Uva, it screamed February Lady to me. My goal is to be able to wear my February Lady for at least part of February. :)

Isn't the slight color variation gorgeous!

What are you working on right now?

  1. I've been seeing so many people working on the February Lady sweater lately. That was the very first pattern I added to my Ravelry queue way back when but have never MADE it. I think it's almost time do it! I love the yarn you're using. Gorgeous color! My Weapons of Mass instruction is waiting for me to pick up at the library. I'm hoping to get there tomorrow so I can join in on Saturday!
