pumpkin picking

On an October Sunday afternoon, we joined some friends at a pumpkin farm a little way down the road, and in the Indian Summer heat, we travelled by hay-covered wagons, drank local apple cider, picked the perfect pumpkin, petted farm animals and frolicked all over the farm under the clear blue sky.
