Moviemaking

About 18 months ago, Paulie and Philip were in a student film written and directed by a friend of their mother.  The short film was accepted into several film festivals, including a local one, where we were able to see them on a big screen.  The experience left Paulie bitten by a bit of the moviemaking bug, and he frequently requests to use the video camera.  He and Elizabeth spent quite a long time last weekend in the library setting up scenes, practicing dialogue, getting takes from many angles.  I just got the chance yesterday to download their work from the video camera.  Here is a snippet of their labors:

  1. That is cool. Elizabeth did a wonderful job!! I used to do a little of filming before college, the editing part is the hardest for me.

  3. What a great job they did. Elizabeth is a natural talking to the camera like that! I would just get tongue-tied.
