a knitting club

I've started working one afternoon a week with a knitting club comprised of several 6th graders from Elizabeth's class and their assorted younger siblings who either knit or make pompoms or other fun yarn projects.  There is little as satisfying as assisting the next generation in their quest to learn these time-honored skills.  We're planning a service project for this group coming soon so I hope to show you more of their work in the future!

  1. That is so fabulous! I love that there are kids who are so interested and eager to learn. They will remember you a long time from now when they still have that skill and it brings them comfort.
