Christmas in NYC

Paul and I had a blast over the weekend in Christmas-y New York.  Unfortunately, I returned with random cold turned kill-me-now sickness mostly of the sinuses.  Yuck!  I'll post a few pictures today and more detail, not to mention a tow-truck adventure, tomorrow hopefully.

Giant ornaments sitting on the sidewalk near Rockefeller Center.

The ginormous Rockefeller Center Tree.  Yes, it's really big, REALLY BIG, actually.
(and totally real, I checked myself.)

The nutcracker photo guy at Radio City Music Hall.
Very clichéd, very touristy. :)

The Christmas Spectacular, also at Radio City Music Hall.
You've never seen live, toy soldiers fall quite this slowly.

The Living Nativity finalé.
Absolutely gorgeous and very moving.

  1. It looks like you had a lovely time. I would love to see NYC at Christmas time. Maybe one day. Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. Sending healing vibes your way and hoping you make a quick recovery.

  2. I just stumbled upon your blog and am LOVING it! Your photography is AMAZING!!! I am so jealous.
Anyway, hope you feel better soon ;)

  3. I loved the live Nativity in the Rockettes show, too!

  4. Oooh, I would love to see the Christmas Spectacular show in NYC someday! I hope you feel better soon.

  5. What great photos! Sounds like a nice time...other than tow trucks, I'm sure! ;)

I love to hear what you think!
