One of the unknown advantages of living in a small town is that Santa comes to visit the basement of the library on a December weeknight to read to the kids. The large towns have to stand in line for hours at the mall. We and 5-6 other families had Santa to ourselves along with a craft time and a snack. When was the last time you heard 'Twas the Night Before Christmas read in the first person by the jolly big guy, himself?
That would be a wonderful way to hear that poem read aloud, by Santa himself!
