This week, I continued to let Finn work on whatever moved him at any given moment. He's pretty good about getting to most of the works on his shelf within the week with definite preferential treatment toward some, like Mighty Mind.
He decided that he wanted the beads we made the other day to become a work, so we added a bowl to his shelf with a mini ladle from his bean jar and now he has another transferring work. I think he enjoys setting up transferring works more than utilizing them after they are set up, but I guess that's ok too.
We worked on a color wheel. He's very good now at identifying the primary and secondary colors and which two primary colors are needed to make each secondary color.
Finn worked several times on his Feel & Find. This work is sold by a local company and the object is to feel a 3D object inside the bag and identify which wooden card the object corresponds to.
He's pretty good at the geometric shapes, but some of the animals and people trip him up a bit.
Finn also enjoys working on his binomial cube. He's still a little fuzzy on exactly how the bottom layer fits together, but with a little guidance, he can finish it off by himself.
Ah, a job well done.
