A-camping we will go...

On Sunday, we dropped Paul and Elizabeth off at Eagle's Nest Camp in the mountains just south of Asheville. They were thrilled to be embarking on their first sleepaway camp experience! We were able to snap a few pictures of the dropoff before we hit the road to let them have a bit of independence in a fantastic arts and nature oriented environment.

  1. Oh. The one of Paul waving goodbye made me emotional for some reason. It brought me right back to being left at camp and trying to be a tough girl but really wanting to cling to my mom and not let go.

  2. Thanks for the comments, Betsy! I've been reading your blog on Babycenter since the beginning of Babes in the Woods, and it's thrilling to me that you'd come here to read and comment. :)
