Yarn Along

My Yarn Along photos this week look remarkably similar to last week.  Scarf and canning book.  The scarf is coming along.  I'm almost finished with the first of two skeins of yarn, although the constant increasing and decreasing takes longer than you would think!

I really have had no time for reading in the last week with cherries, graduation, and field day to contend with.  The closest I came was reading and rereading the recipes and canning instructions in Canning for a New Generation.

Hopefully, I'll have more progress to share, in both departments, the next time we meet!

PS. Make sure you stop by my cookbook giveaway to enter to win a copy of my new e-book published by Little Acorn Learning!

  1. I was just eyeing that canning book on Amazon and wondering if I should order it. I have been putting up food for many years and wondered if there was really anything I could benefit from this new book. Well, it's in my cart so I will find out soon.
Have a great yarn along day.

  2. Wow you seem to be really busy and you know what? The knitting will be there when you are not busy. Love the neutral color of the scarf.

  9. That canning book looks interesting. I'm not gardening this year, but maybe next year. I would love to can some of my veggies, though.
